At about 3 p.m. association president Wayne Deckard opened the meeting.

Wayne Deckard said that he bought motion sensor lights for the hangars last month; most need to be installed.

Wayne said that Roy Dawes will put up a box for the phone; Steve McClure reminded the group that he volunteered to put up a box that Gene Hollingsworth would be making.

Lights are now working on the hangar windsock; a new windsock is needed; old one will not make it through the winter.

Wayne Deckard said that Maurice Hobson will donate a windsock. The runway needs two windsocks, one at the north end and one at the hangars.

Wayne Deckard suggested putting up the chalkboard for chores that need to be done; volunteers can do some of them then mark off. Michael Mossman will make the brackets and hang the chalkboard.

FAA representative Doug Tate was due at the meeting to deal with some aircraft owner charges that inspections, repairs or AD compliances were not properly done (As of the conclusion of the meeting Tate had not yet arrived).

Three new tenants moved to the field during the month of September, although Pat Richardson has not joined yet, nor has he paid his hangar rent or maintenance room rent.

John Kockmer, a tenant since the association was formed, has also not paid association feeds or hangar rent. He told Michael Mossman in an email that he was out of the country but would be paying when he returned.

Regarding individuals who won't pay rent or membership fees, Steve McClure said that someone needs to be assigned to be sure that new members pay. Jack Snyder volunteered to attempt to collect dues and rents from new members.

Gene Hollingsworth volunteered to secure with ropes new trash barrels in the open hangars before winter winds start blowing them into airplanes.

Motion sensor lights are now installed and functioning on the Operations Building.

The main entrance gate is installed but a combination lock is needed. Jack Snyder volunteered to buy one.

Chad Williams volunteered to get a new sign for the gate.

Treasurer's Report: September revenues $3,106. September expenses $327 insurance, $126 phone, $1,500 property rent, $39.60 REMC, $400 reimbursement to Don Deckard for tractor parts. Approximately $3,500 in the checking account.

Chad Williams said that the runway lights are repaired, the trees at the north end of the runway are cut down. The runways is almost ready to recertify for night flight. The external access phone needs to be installed and working. Wayne Deckard mentioned that we will need to check the runway lights just before the inspector comes; sometimes the lights get knocked over by the mowers.

Announcements:
Michael Mossman has a basic web site for the association. Minutes are currently posted as PDF attachments. Volunteer chores may soon be posted although no web sign up or check off is currently available.

Maurice Hobson has donated books to the association. Many are manuals that he requests no be removed from the premises.

Jack Snyder motioned to close the meeting; Chad Williams seconded the motion. All voted in favor to adjourn.

Minutes respectfully submitted by Michael Mossman, Association Secretary
