Vice President Roy Dawes brought the meeting to order.

NEW BUSINESS: The Skydiving club bought Don Brown's property adjacent to the airport and is renting a field for their drop zone. They are not doing anything until next summer. They also bought a Cessna 182 with a new firewall forward; their Twin Otter is coming in the spring.

Larry Poe: Do we want to put our own fuel in the ground?

Roy Dawes: While we have a guy who is willing to spent $10,000 on fuel, and wait to get his money back, we don't need to do it. Brentco does want to add another fuel tank. They could use a mobile unit, which wouldn't require a dike.

Roy Dawes: Now we are full (our tanks are full of fuel); we still don't know the price yet.

Roy Dawes: We have enough LP to fire up but we will need to fill up.

Roy Dawes: The key to unlock the combination lock on the operations building door is under the lid to the LP tank.

Michael Mossman: Kidzz2Go outing will be October 28, with a rain date set for November 5.

Wayne Deckard: Get all of your questions and fears written down; the skydiving club/school will be at our next meeting.

Wayne Deckard: The skydiving club does not have a right of way through the airport property.

Wayne Deckard: It will be our reputation if they mess up; it will be our reputation if they do a good job.

Wayne Deckard: A few people went to the Purdue Wings program a few weeks ago. If you get a chance, attend one of them. There is a Wings program coming up at Greenwood at the end of the month. If you participate, be sure that your paperwork (logs, medical, ARROW, etc.) are up to date. If not they will not be able to give you your check ride.

TREASURER'S REPORT: $5,200 in account with all bills paid.

Wayne Deckard: Do we want to take one or two rows of hangars and put up doors on them? Rents will go up on those hangars. If we do a building we will need to do every hangar on that building; there is no benefit to be gained doing a couple but leaving others without doors. If we do your building and you do not want the pay the increased rent you will have the option of moving back to an open hangar. They used fabric doors on the hangars at Purdue and they lasted for years.

Michael Mossman: There is a signup sheet on the wall with alternative meeting dates and times. If you want the monthly meeting time changed you should indicate your preference on the sheet.

Larry Poe: Did we ever get paid for the hangar rent for the wrecked 337?

Wayne Deckard: Chad Williams is looking into it. Jack Snyder will follow up on it. He owes $350.

Gene Hollingsworth: We need to leave the grass long through the winter.

Roy Dawes has the dump truck apart, working on brakes. It needs a lift cylinder. We need a sign-up sheet to clean and paint the truck. We will be using John Deere yellow brush or roll-on paint.

John Snyder motioned to adjourn; Chuck Leucht seconded. All voted in favor. Meeting adjourned.

Minutes respectfully submitted by Michael Mossman, Association Secretary
