Wayne Deckard brought the meeting to order at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Property Maintenance: Wayne Deckard reported that the trees and brush on the north end of the runway have been cleared to company with INDOT requirements. The runway markings and centerline were painted and the weeds in the concrete cracks have been sprayed. Wayne will get an estimate on getting the cracks filled as was done in 2009.

Runway Ramp Repairs: Wayne Deckard reported that the club could buy a quad full of hot asphalt for $500 delivered, and a roller would rent for $130 for a weekend. If we were to take on this project, we would need volunteers with hard rakes and be willing to work hard. (Gene Hollingsworth suggested removing the asphalt from the center of the ramp, filling the area with dirt and sowing with grass seed.

Equipment Maintenance: Don Deckard reported that the International tractor is in bad shape; it may be more expensive to get it repaired that to replace it. He further reported that the little Ford tractor has only a 19 horsepower engine. If it is used as a mower with a large deck, it will only have enough power to go very slow while mowing.

Property Loss: Some members have lost items such as scrap metal, copper items and batteries. Wayne Deckard has theorized that unscrupulous scrap metal dealers are coming onto the property and taking whatever they can find to turn around quickly for cash. Club members are reminded to lock the gate when leaving the property in the evening, and to check on any vehicles on the property that don't appear to belong to any known members.

Financial Report (Submitted by Chad Williams): Current checking account balance is $3,866.72 and savings account is $5,023.54. Chad pre-purchased 1.175 gallons of propane for the season at a discounted rate of $2.189 per gallon plus tax. The bill will come due a month from now. Chad also generated a typical P&L statement for the club showing expenses and revenues. The club is running at a modest profit but with several expected member departures we could be back to break-even.

Labor Day Weekend: Wayne Deckard reports that the Halsmers will be bringing a parasail glider temporarily to the property on Labor Day weekend to do some towed launch sailing. Members and guests are invited to come watch.

Transactions: Charles Westerfield is interested in selling his T-Bird and FliteStar airplanes.

Motion to Adjourn: Michael Mossman motioned to adjourn; Wayne Deckard seconded. The meeting was informally adjourned; none opposed.
