Club president Chad Williams brought the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.

Mowing Report — Tom Rich says the Dixie Chopper mower will be here again this year for the club to use. Tom will take it back to his shop for service, which will be performed for the cost of the parts. Tom will do the first mowing to insure that it is ready to use. Earl Brosman will be the mowing coordinator again this year.

New Club Equipment — Earl Brosman and Charles Westerfield converted a large leaf blower into a rock blower for cleaning off the ramp, parking and runway. They plan to mount the blower on the the white mower/tractor.

Grass Runway — Chad Williams will consult with Gene Hollingsworth on when the grass runway will be ready to roll. Gene and Dennis Paradise will leave the roller here for the club to use.

Safety Session — Pilots are advised to check their sumps again now that the temperature is warm enough that the sumps won't freeze open.

Pilot's Bill of Rights 2 report — The Pilot's Bill Of Rights 2 was formally introduced into congress. The bill will give pilots the right to fly VFR without a medical, and potentially could include IFR flight, too. Members are encouraged to make a comment to their congressmen on the bill. Chad Williams will provide a link to the AOPA for a form letter. If you type in your zip code the web site will give you your representative.

Fuel Report — The club has half a tank of fuel. At $4.65 per gallon we are competitive with other airports.

Treasurer's Report — Dick Gurley reports via email that the checking account balance is $4,776.65, regular savigns account balance is $9,031.60, and fuel savings account is $4,067.14. All bills are paid. The budget sheet is posted on the bulletin board with the followiing comments: Entertainment expense over budget due to hats and license plates. Equipment over budget due to furnace installation in maintenance hangar furnace and video camera.

Concessions Report — Chuck Leucht reports that the drinks and candy machine are topped off and the lock box is working well.

Aircraft Lien Report - Jay Schaumberg is working with attorney J.C. Beuler, who says that the FAA has cancelled our request for a lien because the aircraft is no longer registered. The lien was filed in Boone County. The club will need to file a suit to get a judgment in our favor so we can remove the aircraft from the property.

New Hangar Report — The club has had several members inquire on renting space in the new hangar. The property owner intends to have a floor poured when the weather is favorable then will partition the hangars. We do not know when the building will be ready and do not have rental rates established yet.

Plow Truck Report — The plow truck is full functional except that the brakes are still not repaired. Roy Dawes is going to look at the brakes and give an estimate on repair cost.

Runway Repair Report — The Indiana State Department of Transportation left a report on the repair cost of the runway. Since the airport is privately owned no action is being taken on the report.

Aircraft For Sale — Gary Rogers will be selling one of his two airplanes, probably the Cessna 150. Is has a low-time engine, fair paint, and needs new glass. It will be in annual when offered for sale.

Aircraft Needed — Mark Rinehart needs to borrow or rent a Cherokee 150 or Cessna 150 for his biennual flight review.

Adjournment — Gene Hollingsworth motioned to adjourn; Jay Schaumberg seconded. The meeting was adjourned.
