With a quorum declared, Club President Ray Rice called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.

Acceptance of Minutes — The November 2018 meeting minutes were approved by an informal vote.

Thanks — Ray Rice extended the club's thanks to Don Geisler for plowing snow during the season's first big storm.

Old Business — The club's Dixie Chopper mower needs a new engine; Chuck Long motioned to buy a new engine. Ray Rice tabled the motion until after a conversation with Don Geisler on how best to proceed. John Saalwaechter offered to donate a new engine. The club also needs a trim mower and a spin trimmer. Matt Kriech has a trimmer to donate, and Jay Schaumberg has a push mower.

New business — John Saalwaechter would like to see an EAA chapter based on the field. Michael Mossman has been in touch with EAA Chapter 1311 at Hendricks County Airport, and will investigate the costs of starting a new chapter. The group formed an EAA chapter exploratory committee, consisting of Saalwaechter, Chuck Long, Michael Mossman and Mark Poliak.

Auto Fuel Report — We are holding off on the purchase of auto fuel until closer to the time when we will need it for mowing.

Maintenance Hangar Report — We have been renting the maintenance hangar for repairs and now seeing some revenue from it. The club needs a sign to remind tenants that the maintenance hangar rent is $10 per day when their aircraft is in the room, regardless if they are actively working or not. The sign will include a note that there is a separate charge for the heater fuel. Ray Rice will generate laminated sign and post it in the maintenance hangar.

Hangar Report — No new tenants this month, but also none announced that they are leaving. The buildings are not falling down amd we have many spaces available. The club got no interest in renting hangars for boat and camper storage over the winter.

Treasurer's Report — Checking account balance is $3,687.99, fuel savings balance is $7,619.41. Dick Gurley did a temporary $100 transfer from fuel savings into checking to avoid letting the account get too low. The club's cash flow is more than $4,000 below break-even due to the hangar vacancies.

Holiday Party Planning — Due to cancelling the annual Holiday Party twice due to incliment weather the club will be hosting a Spring Party the second Saturday in April. Details will be worked out during the February or March meetings. The group noted that Sun and Fun is April 2 through 7, so that event will not conflict with the party.

Events — Mark Poliak noted that the Westfield EAA chapter has a business card with that club's 2019 activities. Michael Mossman will add their activities to the BCAA events calendar.

Young Eagles — Chuck Long reports that the Lutheran Child and Family Services organization might be a good opportunity for a group to participate in a Young Eagles event. Chuck will contact the to see their level of interest.

Other Business — Earm Brosman would like for the club to run a bit of water in the operations building when the temperature is down to zero to keep the pipes from freezing.

Adjournment — Dick Gurley motioned to adjourn. Ray Rice adjourned the meeting at 10:10 a.m.
