Due to the lack of a quorum no formal business was conducted. Club Treasurer Dick Gurley led the meeting, opening at about 9:00 a.m.

Membership Changes — Mark Rinehart turned in his formal notice for departing, as he is moving his aircraft to Franklin IN. Earl Brosman commented that the internal walls in his hangar will have to be removed as they are encroaching on the hangar space for other aircraft.

Airport Manager — Earl Brosman has proposed that the club name an airport manager to handle the day-to-day business. Earl volunteered for the job for the remainder of year. The scope of the job would be what he is doing now, except he would have an official title. His recommendation is to leave the BCAA organization as it is. He asked that his compensation be enough heat in his shop so he doesn't freeze during the winter. The proposal was tabled until the August meeting.

Missing Cat — Earl Brosman's airport cat "Kitty" is missing. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the cat please let Earl know.

Financial Report — Checking account balance is $3,318.97; fuel savings account balance is $10,743.88. The club is currently runnng short on cash; treasurer Dick Gurley thanked those members who donated or pledged towards the purchase of a mower.

Club Equipment Report — The club bought a used commercial grade John Deere ZTR 60-inch mover with about 1,750 hours for $3,000. Mark Rinehart has the club's rivet gun and will need to return it since he has left the field.

Fuel System Report — The avgas fuel tank was inspected recently at a cost of $1,200. The tank passed inspection and is in good condition. The club will need someone to re-install the avgas fuel pump. The little auto fuel display numbers don't work; Earl will ask the supplier to replace the meter for us.

Avgas Report — A load of avgas is due for delivery on July 16. The club has accumulated about $1,500 more than the $10,000 loaned for the fuel. Earl Brosman will order 91 octane mogas the coming week. The club has been doing a lot of mowing earlier in the season.
