Club Vice President Ray Rice brought the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m. EDT

Club Thanks — Ray Rice thanked the following members and volunteers for the services performed: Mark Poliak and Earl Brosman for locating and purchasing the club mower. The club paid cash for the mower, with several members contributing to the cost; Mark, Earl and Mark's nephews and Don Geisler for mowing; Kevin Hoffer for mowing and trim; Ray Rice and Earl Brosman for replacing the north wind sock; Earl Brosman for spraying weeds on the ramp and paved surfaces; Michael Mossman for on-going work as secretary; Dick Gurley for being treasurer; Ray Rice for several years of service and airport improvements.

Airport Inspection — We recently had our annual airport inspection and got dinged on a few things. We fixed the lights, replaced tne north wind sock, etc. The inspectors were not aware that the south wind sock is on a timer with the runway lights.

Tenancy Report — The club lost a couple members in the past couple of months: Tom Welch left but there is a new guy bringing an Ercoupe here. Mark Rinehart left, leaving us with an exclosed hangar available. Richard Rodriguez brought a Cessna 150 earlier this year and has another one that he will bring; he is actively working on these aircraft.

Hangar Building Report — Earl Brosman asked the property owner about putting doors on another hangar, and he said no. If we were to add doors, the northern-most building would be the next candidate due to its condition. Mark Rinehart's hangar has internal divider walls that enroach on three other spaces, plus the internal enclosed room restricts the use of the end spaces for the other tenants and prevents access to the electrical panel. The club discussed removed the walls or renting the space "as is" at additional cost. The doors for that space will need repair or replacement.

Fuel Report — The underground fuel tank passed its five-year inspection; the club will still need to pay for a pressure test. The club will also need three fuel system operator licenses. Ray Rice, Matt Kriech and Earl Brosman will take the on-line training course and test to qualify for the licenses. The club has avgas available to members. Earl Brosman will order another load of mogas for mowing and for members who can operate aircraft with auto fuel.

Associate Membership — Ray Rice recommended that the club amend the membership application to include the Associate Membership.

Club Events — The club held a discussion on hosting a powered parachute fly-in. No motion was made from the discussion.

Oshkosh Report — Earl Brosman took his camper to Oshkosh for AirVenture 2019. Earl reports that the region was extremely muddy the first couple of days, as Oshkosh got five inches of rain. The EAA was parking campers in parking lots and along county roads until the ground dried out. The first couple of days of the show the only airplanes coming in were equipped with high flotation tires.

Operations Building Report — The air conditioner is not working; we will ask Jason Wright will come out to fix it.

Treasurer's Report — Dick Gurley reported by email at the club has $5,192.86 in the checking account and $5,355.99 in fuel savings. The club bought fuel, but we now have excess cash in the fuel savings account because we are no long buying two tanks of fuel. Ray Rice wants to buy down some of the fuel debt with the excess cash.

Club Lease— The club is currently operating without a lease; Ray Rice is negotiating the terms for renewal.

July Minutes — A reading of the July minutes was waived; John Saalwaechter motioned to accept the minutes; Chuck Long seconded. With a voice vote the minutes were accepted into the club records.

Upcoming Fly-Ins — Michael Mossman made a brief announcement about upcomg fly-ins and noted that the events calendar on the club website is continually updated.

Flight School Report — Chuck Long reported that he will be retiring a year from January, and if the position is still open he would entertain the idea of managing the school. He will need a couple of instructors and training aircraft. He reported that he son Josh had a positive experience getting his license here.

Election Results — Michael Mossman read the results from the club's July elections. President — Matt Kriech, 11 votes; Vice President — Ray Rice, 11 votes; Treasurer — Dick Gurley, 12 votes; Secretary — Michael Mossman, 12 votes; Director — Earl Brosman, 12 votes; Chuck Leucht, 11 votes; John Saalwaechter, 11 votes. 12 of 34 members voted for a participation rate of 35%.

Dog Roast — The annual Dog Roast has been scheduled for Saturday afternoon, October 12, with the rain date one week later. Event planning and details to be announced at the September meeting.

Building Demolition — The yellow house to the east of the airport is scheduled for a controlled burn on August 12 through 14. No risk to the airport or aircraft is expected but club members are advised that emergency vehicle traffic is expected to be heavier than normal before, during and after the burn time.

Meeting Adjournment — The meeting was adjourned at 10:07 a.m.
