Club president Matt Kriech brought the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

Old Business — Earl Brosman asked what was preventing us from selling gas to non-members. The scenario is that we would be selling memberships just for the opportunity to buy gas. The club would then be responsible for taxes and other issues. The wing on Steve McClure's airplane is getting repaired. The repairs were approved by insurance but we have not heard any updates. The club will be responsible for the $1,000 deductible. Insurance premium went up by about $600 per year.

Thanks — Matt Kriech offerd the club's thanks to Betsy Boles and John Saalwaechter for painting the numbers on the end of the runway; they look look great. John is planning on painting the stripes down the middle. The club will research the specs for the stripes.

Treasurer's Report — Checking account balance is $8,280.38; Gas savings account balance is $3,763.57. All the bills are paid and the accounting sheets are posted on the bulletin board. Earl Brosman will order 1,500 gallons of avgas. To pay the bill, we need everyone who owes for fuel to pay their balance in full. Adam Coker is 7 months behind in rent; Michael Mossman has sent him several reminders. Adam sent an email sortly before the meeting with the post office tracking number for his check, which will cover him through the end of the year. As of meeting date the USPS shows the label was created but the letter is not yet in their system. Cash will be very tight at the end of the year; we still have the $1,000 deductible to pay for the accident.

Hangar Report — Earl Brosman is offering empty $85 hangars at half price, and we already have two takers. One is a new member and Mark Poliak will take another. Richard Rodiguez will take one for his Mooney if he can get it moved from Crawfordsville. Only one $95 hangar is available, and needs the door removed before an airplane can go in. The club has a total of 12 empty hangars, 7 are rentable, leaving 30 rented spaces. Only about half of the planes based here are flying.

Mowing Report — Earl Brosman wants to buy $2,000 worth of parts for the lawn mowers, getting them ready over the winter for next year. The general concensus was that our cash is tight so we should wait until after the first of the year.

Maintenance Items — The club bought a new wind sock and braced it. Jason Dodd did the roof installation. Katie Mossman hired a woman to clean the office again. The club will need three members to enroll in the IDEM school for inspecting the underground tank. Three levels of training to be done in total, but not necessarily by all. Ray Rice reports that the online course is about an hour. Earl Brosman will create an account and do the couse.

Fuel Report — The club has about 200 gallons of avgas, and just bought more mogas. Earl will order 1,500 gallons of avgas.

Airport Security Report — Earl Brosman installed a security camera in the operations building and wants to know if it is too intrusive. 90% of people who walk in are not aware of it. The $30 camera has motion sensor and only records when triggered. Earl can monitor the camera from his phone and can share it. Concensus is that the camera should stay.

Member Report — Kevin Hoffer is home from bypass surgery, is doing OK. He will have restrictions for a month.

Club Activities — The annual Dog Roast is scheduled for October 24, which gives us a couple weeks to prep. The event starts start at 4 p.m. for flying and socialization, dinner at any time members and their guests want to cook. The event will be bring your own provisions this year. Matt Kriech may bring a grill and do some brats. The Dog Roast will be held outside and will require social distancing. Matt is also looking for interest and input on a Christmas Party. Any members with ideas on when, where and how to host it are invited to contact Matt or respond to this email.

Adjournment — Gary Hunter motioned to adjourn; Matt Kriech adjourned the meeting at approximately 7:35 p.m.
