Club vice president Ray Rice opened the meeting at 7:04 p.m. EST

Snow Removal Report — Ray Rice offered the club's thanks to Matt Kriech, Earl Brosman and John Saalwaechter for plowing snow. Earl commented that the Tracker did really well considering how much snow accumulated. The club had to hire a front-end loader to move the plowed snow out of the way.

New Club Equipment — Mark Poliak set up a rack outside of the operations building for securing wheel chocks and tiedown ropes. Earl Brosman received a donation of two chairs, which are in the operations building. At the April meeting the club will vote on keeping the chairs or giving them away.

Treasurer's Report — Checking Account balance is $18,395.68. Fuel Savings balance is $2,874.14, and has about $890 in fuel receivables. All bills are paid to date, including the $1,000 deductible on the aircraft damaged by the mowing incident. One member is six months in arrears on hangar rent; all others are up to date. Michael Mossman to write a letter to the member in arrears. Dick Gurley reports that the club had three incidents recently where club members disputed their balances owed; two were quickly resolved. The club posts balance reports monthly on the bulletin board in the operations building. Members should view the reports regularly. If they notice a discrepancy they should let Dick know as soon as possible for timely resolution.

Avgas Report — The club has about 600 gallons of fuel, which is expected to go quickly with the good flying weather returning. A normal fuel load is about 1,500 gallons, which could cost up to $6,000 at today's prices. Members are asked to pay their fuel bills promptly so the club will have the cash to order the next load with no interruption in local fuel availability. On another note, on September 17, 2020, someone charged 43.7 gallons against a Cessna 150 tail number, which could not hold that amount of fuel. Members are asked to check their records; if they flew on that date and bought fuel they are asked to contact Dick Gurley and settle the account.

Fuel System Report — Earl Brosman and John Saalwaechter took the state's fuel system training course. The state wants all of the training materials kept in one place. Michael Mossman recommending scanning the documents so that we have a secure PDF copy in the event the originals are lost or damaged.

Airport Equipment Maintenance Report — Steve McClure would like to fix the wind vane but does not know how much it will cost. Earl Brosman told him if the amount was less than $100 he would already be OK to proceed. Any amount more than $100 will require a club vote approval.

Airport Property Maintenance Report — Earl Brosman has been setting out traps and mouse poison; he bought more and needs help setting it out. The club needs to drive stakes into concrete blocks around hangar doors so the wind does not blow them away. Earl needs help moving the blocks and hammering the rebar stakes. Ray Rice motioned for the club to spend up to $250 to do some routine maintenance on the operations building HVAC system. Mark Poliak seconded; all voted in favor. Motion passed. The club needs more gravel on the main driveway. Earl Brosman will get a price for having gravel delivered. The club will need a clean-up and maintenance day sometime in April or May. Earl will have a list of clean-up and maintenance items, and will send them to Michael Mossman to post on the next club newsletter.

Hangar Occupancy Report — The club has six empty open-air hangars available for immediate occupancy. One and a half hangars are rented for trailer storage. Earl Brosman asks trailer renters to pay at least six months or a year for trailer storage. The maintenance hangar is again available on a temporary basis to all regular members in good standing. Earl would like to do another mailing to try to locate new member/tenants. Dick Gurley does not recall how much the club spent on the last mailing but will look it up. Earl will prepare a list for the mailing.

Mowing Report — Earl Brosman reports that it is time to think about mowing and weed trimming. Members are asked to volunteer for mowing and weed trimming again this year, along with rolling the grass runway. The club has a new associate member who expressed interest in mowing last autumn; Earl will contact him.

Paramotor Fly-In Report — Mark Poliak reports the club needs to host a meeting for the club and paraglider operations to understand each other's expectations, on or around April 3 or 4. The class and meeting will give all in attendance some insight on how we make changes to our rules and procedures going forward. Ray Rice wants one more board meeting before we have the class. The paramotor training class would be on about the first of May. The club will have some pizzas for those attending the class. The paramotor operators have already posted something on the internet about an August event.

Associate Membership Update — Associate Membership dues are $60 per year. Dick Gurley recommended making the dues payable in full the first of June. Initial dues payments would be pro-rated to the first of June. Michael Mossman will send email letters to associate members. Ray Rice recommended including a note about how the club keeps costs down with volunteer maintenance to the property.

Adjournment — Dick Gurley motioned to adjourn; Mark Poliak seconded; the meeting was adjourned at 7:51 p.m. EST by Ray Rice.
