Club president Ray Rice brought the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. Due to scheduling issues a Zoom meeting was offered.

October 2022 Meeting Minutes — Earl Brosman motioned to approve the minutes of the October 2022 meeting; Ray Rice seconded. All voted in favor of approval.

Fuel System Report — The underground storage tank will need to be inspected again this year. The last time it was done the cost was $1,200; our most recent quote is now $1,700. The fuel level will need to be down to about 100 gallons before they can enter the tank. The club has about 600 gallons of 100LL avgas and might be able to offload some of it but there is a limit to what we can store externally. We will need to get Chuck Long to estimate when we will be sold down to about 100 gallons. The new fuel pump works good; Ray Rice suggested putting a timer on it so if someone forgets to turn it off it will shut down automatically.

Fuel Report — The club has about 600 gallons of 100LL fuel. Earl Brosman ordered a new load of no-alcohol auto fuel the day of the meeting; we are just about out of mogas.

Hangar Report — No new inquiries or activity for the hangar rentals. The roofs are fixed on the old hangars and the bills are paid. The hangars look betters and stood up with no damage from the recent high winds

Winter Preparation Report — John Saalwaechter will be storing his Tracker vehicle and snow plow in the maintenance hangar for snow removal. The grass runway roller will need to be winterized. Earl Brosman will need access to Jay Schaumberg's hangar to blow out the lines before they freeze.

Property Maintenance Report — Earl Brosman plas on taking some things to the dump, will empty some barrels and get some more new ones. Jay Schaumberg knows a guy who has a metal recycling bin and would be happy to take any metal, although he does not pick it up. He could accept our old fuel pump. Ron Lehrman has a neighbor who will take our junk. Steve Koch says that a dump on the southwest side of Indianapolis will take anything you can put in the back of a truck for $5, and they are open until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Other Maintenance Items — The club wil need a new American flag; the old one split down the middle from the recent high winds.

EAA Chapter 1311 Report — Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 in the Boone County Airport Operations Building. Earl Brosman stopped in during the last meeting; he reports that the group is going to build an airplane.

Financial Report — Checking Account balance is $4,100, plus another pending deposit from what is in the box. Fuel Savings balance is $2,500, and fuel receivables are $3,400. Several members are four or months in arrears on hangar rent. Club treasurer Chuck Long reports that he pays bills twice a month, one just after the meeting and the other toward the end of the month.

Christmas Party planning — Matt Kriech offered again to host the annual BCAA holiday party at Wabash Brewing in Indianapolis. Party date will be on Sunday, December 11; time to be announced. Matt will order catering from Squealer's. Members can expect the party expenses to be similar to last year, along with the annual White Elephant gift drawing.

Lost and Found — Steve Koch lost a pair of binoculars on or near the airport property. If anyone finds them please contact Steve or return to Earl Brosman.

Adjournment — Jay Schaumberg motioned to adjourn; Mark Poliak seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 7:33 p.m. EST.
