With no quorum declared, club president Ray Rice opened the meeting at 7:19 p.m..

Approval of Minutes — Chuck Long motioned to approve the minutes from the June 8, 2023 meeting; Steve Koch seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.

Club Thanks and Recognition — Ray Rice offered the club's thanks to to Will (club apprentice) and Reese Dodd for mowing.

Enclosed Hangar Project — The club has two confirmed commiments to the enclosed hangar (Jason Dodd and John Kindred), and possibly one more. Five commitments total will be needed for the project to move forward. Earl Brosman believes that two to three people in the last month inquired about availability and were only interested in an enclosed hangar. A commitment will require each tenant to pay $1,500 upfront for the hangar doors (approximately $1,000 for materials and $500 for labor). The expenditure will freeze that tenant's rent rate for five years.

Treasurer's Report — Checking account balance is $10,624.30; fuel savings balance is $2,704.77. The club has six member who are three or more months in arrears on hangar rents, and $3,922.49 in fuel receivables. Michael Mossman will send emails to those members asking that they catch up on their bills.

Fuel Report — The club will receive approximately 1,500 gallons of avgas on Monday, July 17. The club will need to sell about 60 gallons (or store some fuel in jerry cans) so we can receive the full 1,500-gallon load. Price for avgas will be reset after the invoice for the next load arrives. The club already has auto gas available. The mogas price is $4.50 per gallon. The club discussed the road tax portion of the auto fuel bill and will investigate to see if it can be removed or discounted since the fuel is used for mowing and aircraft use.

PPG Event Report — Jason Dodd states that the August 17-20 fly-in registration is on track, with more registrants this year than last. There are no planned changes to the format. Jason will not hire a caterer this year (too expensive) but will smoke some pork butts for Saturday night's dinner. The airport owner requested that the event have its own liability insurance; Jason has a broker in Lebanon who is preparing a quote. Ray Rice will call the club's broker to see if we can get a three-day rider. Jason will check to see if the event can afford insurnance, otherwise, he will check with the airport owner to see if the releases signed by the entrants are OK

Airport Inspection — INDOT did a recent inspection; the airport passed and the club received an email stating that it was fine. The club will need to repair some lights and paint the runway before next year.

Election Results — The results of the club's annual election of officers and directors was announced at the meeting: Steve Koch, president; Jason Dodd, vice president; Chuck Long, treasurer; Mark Poliak, secretary; Earl Brosman, director; Kevin Hoffer, director; and Josh Kaskel, director. The club thanks all members who were willing to stand up as candidates.

End of Quorum — Ray Rice's Zoom meeting ended at approximately 7:50 p.m.

Late Fees — The club discussed assessing late fees for delinquent acounts. Michael Mossman recommended tabling the discussion until the next meeting, at a time when formal action could be done with a full quorum in place.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
