Finance: Matt Kriech reported that we are accounting for payments made forward plus have a few in arrears. Matt said the 310 (Adam Coker) is more than 15 months behind and Adam indicated he would pay but hasnšt. We will proceed on the process to collect. Matt said Karen Rieger made a partial payment and expects the balance paid soon. Matt will follow up that money orders or cash are not being accepted going forward but members can pay by check, Zelle or bill pay from the bank mailed to the airport address. Fuel has been paid. Earl Brosman said the club will order MoGas for the lawnmowers soon. Matt indicated hangar #20 has been rented and pilot is looking for an Experimental airplane.

Old Business:

  • Matt said a 2CY dumpster is here and needs to be relocated. Steve Koch is working on that.
  • Earl reported that the runway lights were repaired but we have a few to dig up before June.
  • Mark Poliak reported that he still has not done service on the mowing equipment yet but will Monday.
  • Jason Dodd rolled once with the new roller and rolled over the gopher holes. It needs a hitch pin. He will keep rolling through the spring. We need a half dozen holes filled with soil.
New Business:
  • Chuck Long reported there are 15 Zionsville children requesting an EAA Young Eagle ride and four members indicated they would volunteer to fly rides. Chuck will send the school forms to see how many follow through with parental approval before we set a date.
  • We have a few light bulbs in the overhead light fixtures of the operations building that need replaced. Mark Poliak will look at this.
  • Chad Williams's sons are willing to mow this year with Reese Dodd as backup.
  • Earl Brosman has a list of projects to do and will be posted on the bulletin board. Members can record time against the maintenance fee on the clipboard. Reese Dodd might be willing to do some of these if he has time. A golf cart needs put together and a motor needs overhauled on the power broom Earl donated and is in the maintenance hangar. Josh Kaskel will weld the aluminum cart part that needs welded and Mark to paint the frame. The cart also needs batteries. Kevin Secco had a few helpers to fix several problems with the menšs toilet. Two hangars have a track each that needs to be welded and Kevin indicated he could help with this. Please let Kevin know we appreciate his assistance on these projects when you see him. Chuck indicated we should give Kevin a $100 gift card to show our appreciation for doing these skilled trade repairs as these would have cost us much more. Jason Dodd made a motion to approve this gift card, Matt Kriech seconded and the motion passed. Matt to buy the gift card.
  • Jason said our weather station the PPG guys purchased for the club is working and is on the Ambient network system. Earl said wunderground had our station previously and should be able to broadcast for us. Jason is sending out the link so we can see it remotely.
  • A motion to adjourn was made at 8:01 p.m.
  • At 8:04 p.m. golf ball sized hail started to fall. All cars and one airplane seemed to survive the hail.
